FURROW, Talma Collins

Talma Collins Furrow, 81, of Christiansburg, departed this life Saturday evening, June 20, at Radford Health and Rehab. Born in Pembroke on July 29, 1933 she was a daughter of the late Frank and Eunice Kelly Collins. A beloved Christian mother and homemaker, she was a member of The First Church of God in Christiansburg, was retired from Roses with 36 years service and had at the last worked at English Meadows in Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roscoe Furrow, Sr. and her brothers Conrad and Lawrence Collins. She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Roscoe “Randy” and Carolyn Lawson Furrow of Christiansburg; her grandsons Benjamin and Heath Furrow both of Christiansburg; her sister and brother-in-law Edna and Allen Lawson of Christiansburg; her brother and sister-in-law Dale and Roma Snidow Collins of Pembroke and a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 11:00 am in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St, in Pembroke with her Pastor, Lance Jenkins, officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Family Section of the Snidow Cemetery on Lilly Heights at Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 until 8 pm.
