FRAZIER, Jerry Kelly
Jerry Kelly Frazier, 73, of Narrows, VA, left this life on Sunday, July 5, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on April 26, 1942, to the late Jack and Sadie Frazier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold G. Frazier and Wade H. Frazier. He was a member of the Vinton Order of Eastern Star and a Shriner, as well as proudly serving as a U.S. Deputy Marshall in Roanoke, Virginia. After moving to Narrows, he became a faithful member of the Narrows Lions Club and the Masonic Lodge 269. He was a founding member of the Narrows Business and Professional Association. He has been the driving force behind Anna’s Restaurant in Narrows since December of 1984 and his spirit will live on in every dish they serve. His continued contribution to the betterment of the world will be missed. A dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anna Lee Pratt Frazier, and their three sons, Jerry Kelly Frazier, Jr., and his wife, Colleen; Michael Scott Frazier and his partner, Gary Bowman; and Bryan Pratt Frazier and his wife Crissy, along with seven grandchildren, Meaghan, Nathan, Kelly, Alec, Christopher, Bryanna, and Timothy; and ten great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Maddox, Pierce, Bronx, Laighton, Manhattan, Tucker, Soldier, Parker and Aleigha. His memory will be cherished by his family and anyone who had the privilege to meet him. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Narrows with Tom Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM, with a Masonic memorial service at 7:30 PM.
