PARRIS, Brian Thomas

Brian Thomas Parris, 50, of Wolf Street, Narrows, departed this life Saturday morning, October 17, 2015, as the result of injuries in an automobile accident. Born on July 7, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas he was a son of Gary Parris and the late Catherine Trammell Parris. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead, and was employed as a corrections officer at Bland Correctional Facility for the last nine years. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 24 years Carol Kanetsky Parris; his son Anthony Thomas Parris of the home; his daughter Christin Parris of the home; his father and step-mother Gary and Susan Parris of Austin, Texas; his brother Timothy Parris of Texas; his sister Theresa P. Davis of Abilene, Texas; and his step-brothers Michael Bramblett of Austin, Texas and Shane Bramblett of Bane, Texas. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:00 pm in Riverview Baptist Church at Ripplemead with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
