TOBIAS ALEXANDER DOTSON, 41, of the White Gate community of Pearisburg, VA died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 unexpectedly at Carilion Roanoke Memorial hospital. Toby was born July 22, 1974 in Bluefield, WVA. He attended church at Heritage Church, Dublin and was soon to graduate New River Community College with an electrical engineer degree. He was greatly loved and will be missed terribly. Left to cherish Toby’s memory are his parents, Kirk & Kevin Sands, White Gate; his sisters & brother-in-law, Marie & Steven May, Jonesborough, TN and Catherine Casey Dotson, Hillsville; and his three sons, Hunter, Bryce & Lance. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with Rev. Preston Mathena and Rev. Travis Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until service time, 7:00 P.M. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stinson Cemetery, White Gate. This family is in the care of A.
