DUDASH, Janet Collins

Janet Collins Dudash, 68, of Jennifer St., Christiansburg and formerly of Pembroke, departed this life Sunday morning, June 28, 2015 at her home. Born in Pearisburg on September 2, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Marcus and Lucille Williams Collins. She had been employed as Director of the Carousel Learning Center and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband John J Dudash, and her brother Jimmy Collins. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughters-in-law Ronald G. “Greg” and Michele Dudash of Blacksburg, Robert A. “Robbie” and Cindy Dudash of Raleigh, NC, John Christopher and Rebecca Dudash of Christiansburg; her grandchildren Victoria, Alex, Tyler, Sam, and Carter Dudash; her brother and sister-in-law Paul Beverly and Frances Collins of Pearisburg; her sister-in-law Reda Riddle Collins of Pembroke and several nieces and nephews and a host of good friends. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Our Savior Lutheran Church in Christiansburg with The Rev. Paul Hendrickson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church Columbarium , 1845 Cambria Road, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
