Clark, Edna Mildred Mullins

CLARK, Edna Mildred Mullins, 83, of Narrows, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2003, at her daughter’s home in Roanoke, following a lingering illness. Born June 10, 1920, at Whitewood, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Jackson and Lydia Mae Woosley Mullins. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ballard Wesley Clark; a daughter, Ruby Diana Clark; a son, Jerry Lesley Clark; and two brothers, Homer Percy Mullins and Ronald Gene Mullins. She attended Cedar Grove Church of Christ in the Wolf Creek Community of Giles County. She is survived by a brother, Thomas Mullins of Columbus Ohio, a daughter, Barbara Clark Taylor of Roanoke; two sons, Gerry Wesley Clark and wife, Carlotta of Pearisburg, and John Calvin Clark and wife, Charlene of Riner; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 22, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows. Burial will follow in the Dotson Clark Cemetery in the Wolf Creek section of Bland County.
